social responsibility and a determined ideology to increase participation
and prosperity of smallholder grower-processors. We strive to develop
community based opportunities within the dynamism of the regional
economy, not only for the welfare of the individual but also to the greater
benefit of future generations.
In recognition of the
importance of market access to the livelihoods of the smallholder
grower-processor, Vantage Organic International in conjunction with its
partners currently has undertaken various initiatives within Ethiopia and
the United States aimed at facilitating a direct-to-market linkage. This
goal primarily focuses on increasing the income of the smallholder
grower-processor through efficient market-based participation beyond the
traditional approach.
